The first time you meet someone is always special, always unique. A moment you can never capture again. A moment that colors all that comes after. But what if you could relive it? Maybe you've been friends, partners, enemies for ages. Maybe you've never met because you're from different times, worlds, realities. Or maybe your canon just never said a word about how you met and it's time to find out how it could have happened.

Type:

1. Magic: Some mystical power (arcane, technological, etc) has zapped any memories you had of each other. When you look at each other, does something feel familiar, or are you total strangers?
2. Rewind: By some means, time had a bit of a hiccup and now you're back to the day you met. Is anything different?
3. By Request: One of you demanded a do-over, or maybe someone you know wanted you to fix it and used mysterious means to make it happen.
4. From A Dream: You just know in your heart you've seen them somewhere before, but maybe it wasn't while you were awake.
5. Another World: Dragged across dimensional barriers or across the vastness of space, just to bump into someone special.
6. We Never Knew: (for those with no canon story) Looking back on how it COULD have happened
7. We've Never Met: True first encounters, you've never met before. At least not in THIS reality.
8. Wildcard: Dealer's choice

Mood: 

1. Love at first sight: Sometimes you just look at someone and you feel that zing in your heart
2. Lust at first sight: And sometimes that zing is a tad bit lower
3. Hate at first sight: No zing, only irritation and seething animosity
4. Friends at first sight: You just know, without a doubt, that you want to do everything with this person, less of a zing more of a click
5. Suspicion at first sight: Who are they? What do they want? Can they be trusted? The only zing happening is closer to paranoia than anything.

Freshman year. No, worse than that, the first day of freshman year. The kid's stuff was over. This was it. High school. Finally. Then why did he feel so lost? Wasn't he supposed to have it all together. He was determined to be the best at something. Okay, so he couldn't be the best when it came to actual school. His grades sucked up until now. But he could still be the best at being cool, right? His leather jacket was a bit too big, and his hair needed practice. It wasn't quite long enough, but he'd tried anyway, even if a lock kept falling over his forehead.

A bag slug over one shoulder, he hustled with the rest of the student body. However they were all eager for the first class, while he felt a rising sense of dread. He clutched his schedule in one hand, scanning rooms as he passed. Where was room 302? Shouldn't it be here? Were the numbers all jumbled up or was he losing his mind?

The bell rang. The hall emptied. And he was left standing there.

Lost.

He couldn't ruin his attempts to be cool if he ran to a teacher on the very first day. He'd find the room. Eventually.
