The Body Heat Meme
THE BODY HEAT MEME

Post with your character! They're now stuck in a very cold place of your choice. It can be anything, such as a freezing chamber, a cavern or a small cabin in the midst of a blizzard. The choice is up to you.
Comment around! Now your character has some company in this bone-chilling environment. The two of them share two things in common: clothes completely unfitting for this weather (be they summer clothes or even lingerie) and a blanket.
A blanket? Yes, just one warm blanket and no other ways to escape the cold. The two of them will have to share it in order to stay alive in this weather. Don't worry, you're sure to find a common language in this terrible situation!
So, uh, have fun, I suppose. Try to not freeze to death!
Protip: friction and body heat are both excellent ways to fend off cold.

Oh bloody Merlin's frozen BALLS, it was c-c-cold here! Auror (Cadet) Maria Selwyn was sure that this was a test of her stealth capabilities, as much as it was of her ability to follow basic orders from her odious supervisor, who was no doubt seated in the Three Broomsticks, by the fire— and THAT was why she had not lit her own fire, even in a small bell jar. So here she was: huddled under a damned "thermal blanket" (as if a blanket could POSSIBLY keep her warm in this icy weather!), watching the gateposts of Hogsmeade, just to ensure that no Death Eaters came through them— as if they really would come here on the day of a Hogsmeade Weekend Trip, for the nearby school; the damned kids were ruddy terrifying enough to Maria Selwyn, and she's certain that most of the Death Eaters would share those sentiments, especially the younger ones, without brats of their own yet.
And then, suddenly, she felt the damned blanket lifting off her, almost like someone is actually attempting to Apparate right up beside her— but then again, why would they? Indeed, that made no sense, at all, not even if some clever little cuss from the school who had just gotten his Apparition licence, had seen her "hiding" under the blanket, and decided to mess with her—
And yet... Here she was, suddenly deprived of her blanket, and shivering with a desperate sort of violence, as she tries to open her suddenly chattering teeth to actually speak to the person who had just stolen her bloody blanket! "OI!' she managed, before her jaw locked up again.

It didn't make sense for there to be a portal there, for her to feel the remnants of both Kitty's temporal phasing and Blink's teleportation. The Sentinels had been breaking into the room, she'd felt the heat of that final killing blast on her face. It didn't make sense, but somehow it had happened. Rogue could feel the brushes of those powers ghosting through her veins, those and half a dozen other abilities she'd absorbed over the years, as if the echoes of their owners were trying to save her from the encroaching doom.
There was something covering her, and it was a completely different kind of shock when she tossed aside the blanket to come face to face with a young woman who looked to be a combination of angry and surprised, and also frozen. Lord, it was cold, even colder than it had been in the mountain temple. Rogue stared at the other woman with wide eyes, but couldn't think of anything to say.
