Voice Testing Meme

Always wanted to try your hand at that complex character, but were always uncertain? Have a pup who's still wet behind the ears? A muse just shaking off the dust from sitting in a corner for too long? Well, here is the opportunity for you!
Just leave a comment with your character's name and canon, as well as any information you deem relevant.
Whether you want to start the thread, or let subsequent taggers choose is up to you. Use the Plot Scenario Generator if you want a little push.

His nose wrinkled a little at the collar, but he didn't argue it, "Yeah, yeah, might as well get this over with."

But then he grinned. "Don't worry, it doesn't hurt you." He stepped in closer and moved the collar around him, and it locked soundlessly. "Be a good boy and you might be out of here sooner than you'd think."

He smiled again, just a little, "I'm always good, aside from the murder." He shrugged, "But apparently I'm pretty good at that, too. Just not the not-getting-caught for it part."
no subject
"Well just so you know, the cutest kid here happens to be a brutal murderer." He was talking about Mikan, but said young man was not allowed to know that he cared for him as much as he did, okay? He would just try to hug him even more often if he knew that. "Follow me."
He curled his finger in a gesture to make him come with him. Time to show the newbie his cell.

He wouldn't be recognized, and more than that, he wouldn't make wildly inappropriate comments out of boredom. Fear, perhaps, but not boredom, and at the moment he wasn't really afraid. He knew who he was looking for after all, and knew that he'd be extracted soon enough, and that given his training, he should be able to hold his own if it came to a fight, which he was really hoping it wouldn't.

"So, why'd you kill'em?"
Usually, but not always, people had reasons for killing others. And he wasn't able to leavve the prison either, so it could get pretty boring at times.

He shook his head at the question, "Tried to do some damage to a friend of mine, I couldn't let that stand." It was the reason that was closest to the truth, a reason that he would kill someone, and the General had told him to keep his story as close to personal as possible, partly to help him remember it, and partly to help with his conviction when relating it to others.

Though had Finn been in one of those cells, there would have been no way for him to get out again, no matter how hard the Resistance tried. Only the craziest, most dangerous criminals were locked up in there, and saw little daylight for years.
Though honestly, he had been hoping for something a little bit more interesting. He pointed to the left as they walk down an aisle.
"That's the cafeteria, big meals're served three times a day."

He gave a shrug at the rest, however, "Turns out she didn't actually need my help anyway. Guess that's why she's out there and I'm in here."
no subject
"Women are strong, so you screwed yourself on that one." That one being having been caught. He didn't exactly get the details on how the capture happened, that wasn't information deemed relevant for him to know.
He stopped in front of a cell. "Welcome home, this'll be your room."
no subject
He gave the cell a once-over, giving a little shrug, "Could be worse." He'd had worse, actually, First Order training being what it was, and isolation cells being what they were. Not that he'd ever committed an infraction serious enough to put him in one, there were still random draws, sometimes, something to -supposedly- prepare the troopers for any type of survival situation.

Now, getting locked into prison was a generally bad idea though.
"If you get injured there's an infirmary, but don't go there without actually needing to. We don't have a limitless supply of items here." And even if someone might need to get out to have surgery, that was not going to happen. People would only get out when they die or serve the end of their sentence.
no subject
He eyed the cell again, "Only have to be in here for lights-out or count or anytime that's not meals or what?"
no subject
"Just for lights-out, you can walk around freely during the day." It was a pretty good deal for people who weren't in maximum security.
no subject
"Good, good, that's," He nodded, "That's good to know."
no subject
"Anything else you wanna know before I let you go play?"

Granted, depending on the novel, Finn could read it that quickly, speed-reading and retention was one of a few non-combat skills he had.

Another nod at the follow up, "Can do. Definitely the kind of trouble I try to stay out of."
