Always wanted to try your hand at that complex character, but were always uncertain? Have a pup who's still wet behind the ears? A muse just shaking off the dust from sitting in a corner for too long? Well, here is the opportunity for you!

Just leave a comment with your character's name and canon, as well as any information you deem relevant.

Whether you want to start the thread, or let subsequent taggers choose is up to you. Use the Plot Scenario Generator if you want a little push.

He was correct in his assumption that it wasn't as easy as she let on, but she was much too happy about the added extra story that she didn't exactly worry about it now. As long as no one asks, it's the end result that matters most.

When he mentioned Lina's multiple disastrous visits, she just smiled and waved it off, "That may be true, but having Miss Lina there usually gives me a chance to travel further- if only to keep her away from the palace. My poor chefs still ask me if I know when she's coming in advance so they can prepare."

She fell into step with him, a skip in her own step every so often. "Even something as trivial and small as 'old mentions' of research can make the biggest difference, or even be the missing key."

"Lina appearing usually does lead to us wandering all over the place," Zelgadis said with a nod, snorting slightly, "among other things."

Not that it always was Lina's fault - in fact, his absolute first 'adventure' with Lina had nothing to do with Lina being Lina and it was frankly a good thing she'd been the one to steal the orihalcon statue.

And if Zelgadis was honest with himself, he'd gotten into one or two strange happenings without Lina being there... and Amelia clearly managed the same, even if 'reuniting star-crossed lovers' was pretty low on the weird shenanigans scale.

"Exactly," Zelgadis smiled, pleased she was picking up on why he was following something that might (was probably) lead nowhere, "of course, in this case current knowledge of making chimeras have advanced since then, but there might be discarded attempts that may be of use to me."

And it gave him something to pursue when hints of even obviously fake Claire Bible manuscripts or other entrances to the whole thing ran dry.

"Either way, I'm happy you're coming back with me." It made her heart hurt knowing that his search wasn't going in any good direction. After a few moments of quiet, without thinking, she spoke.

"I've told you before and I don't mind repeating it, but I really do think you're cool the way you are now... and I don't think anyone, not even the people of Seyruun think you're any different from the rest of us."

There was almost a blush, but she was walking a bit ahead at this point, "At least I can look forward to your visits."

"Amelia..." Zelgadis was rather relieved she was walking a little bit ahead, since that let him duck his head and rub his face and feel conflicted - frustrated, annoyed, and maybe a tiny bit relieved, but she was one in three people who really didn't mind - without having her stare up at him and try to convince him with the sheer force of her will alone that no one else minded.

"Do I have to remind you how you reacted when we first met?" he said quietly, and very dryly. Not actually trying to hurt her, but she was far too kind and idealistic. "That's all most people will see. I have had..."

He paused, unsure if he actually wanted to say that much, since while travelling with the others it was rare people (had the time to) got upset about him.

"More than once child has run away screaming," he finally finished, staring at the road ahead flatly, a little off so he didn't have to watch her expression, bracing himself.
